This was an interesting enough practice session, seeing that the total actual 'practice' time amounted to maybe 10 or 15 minutes. Unfortunately, it was only us three that met up, the other two head health-related issues. I'm sure we all had fun though, us the weird JAR trio.
What did we practice? Mostly the tinkly-twinkly part in Tchaikovsky's Waltz, which, I have to say, we get better at by the day. Not much else.
We definitely should do this at least once a week, even if it's just scheming about taking over the world, one instrument at a time... (:
Anna
ps.: And we drew a gigantic alto clef onto the whiteboard! That counts for something!

sorry i couldnt go you guys...I HAD THE WORST HEADACHE EVAHH!..wat happened to So Yoon by the way...I dont remember seeing her today...just her bag...

-arcee
Hahaha! She was right behind us during class. I actually thought Arcee was Arcee, but actually Arcee was R.C.! Who would of thought?
:P Sorry, I'm slow with these things.
Also, The Giga-Alto looked like a Christmas decoration when you look at it from afar, since it was made from green and red white board markers. and also about the victory stance, it was actually supposed to be those "fist to the sky" stances but with the bow it look awkward. good times... good times...
ALSO! The J.A.R^2.S. Agency is not weird.
haha...thats kool...wat does J.A.R^2.S. MEAN?
Ah, yes, the twinkly-twinkly part (which I refer to as just D in my head, or 'weird-ass part'..) is getting a lot better! We're almost there, fellow violists!
Arcee (RC), to update you on PS1 (Practice Session 1), we did a lot of wacky things including the so-called Victory Dance, which was hilariously done by Jeff and later copied (and made better!) by me, and also the giga-alto clef on the Practice Strings room whiteboard.
Make sure to come to the next PS, freshie!
BTW, we did practice for more than 15 minutes! We practiced for about fifty minutes...and chatted the remaining 20. Haha.
P.S. Arcee, the JAR^2S stands for our names.
We did not practice for 50 minutes! Never! We played through some parts, mostly the tinkly-twinkly, and then chatted. Mostly chatted. Don't kid yourself, it was never 50 minutes!
WHAT!? VICTORY-DANCE MADE BETTER BY RINA!? It's obvious Rina's envious of my superior victory-dancing skills. My V.D. was undeniably better.
ALSO! I thought we practiced for thirty minutes. well, at least for me only.
HAHAHAHAAHAHA..y'all are funny (victory dance, i wonder how it looked like)!...haha i thought J.A.R^2.S. meant like some weird codename of some sort...lol
Dude, I think I have a problem... after GK yesterday, my arms and back hurt like hell. I can't straighten my left arm, much less hold a viola... :S
That could be a problem...just rest for today and let's see how it goes tomorrow. It's probably muscle strain, since you don't use those muscles on your arm and back very often.
Don't overdo it and it should dull by tomorrow.
Same here, Anna! I was aching everywhere! It's so weird! And what are you talking about, Race Car? IT IS A CODENAME! It is our symbol! Our pride! Our joy! And it looks pretty cool. It represents who we are! JARS! or at least the things that are inside jars. ALWAYS PACKED TOGETHER! :B
